• Ryan, Lykos & Raffa, LLC.
  Longtime friends and associates George Ryan and Tom Lykos together with Tom's Partner, David Raffa in the Lykos Group, have combined resources to form Ryan Lykos and Raffa, LLC (RLR). The new company will focus on the process of building new homes and commercial tenant improvements. George Ryan and Tom have worked closely in the Collier Building Industry Association for many years where they have discussed ways to improve customer service, and the product they deliver to the community and our industry. The addition of fine home building and commercial services makes the Lykos Group and RLR a full service construction company.
  
  Mr. Ryan is a fourth generation contractor who has been a builder in Naples since 1991. The new company's pre-construction services make it unique in the industry because its focus is concentrated on building the project on paper before a shovel is ever put into the ground. The Pre-Construction Services System set RLR apart from any other builder because it works with clients to make sure they understand the plans, work through construction details and make selections before construction begins.

• LYKOS GROUP WINS TWO SAND DOLLAR AWARDS!
  
  On Saturday, May 7, 2005 the Collier Building Industry Association held its annual awards ceremony honoring the best in local building. The Lykos Group was awarded two Sand Dollar Awards:

• Tom Lykos, owner of The Lykos Group, served as the 2005 Chairman of the Florida Home Builders Association's Remodelors Council from October 16th, 2004 to October 14, 2005.

• CBIA Sand Dollar Award - Best Condominium Remodeling Project - 2002, 2003
  
  
• 2002 Continued Service Award - Lykos Group President Tom Lykos was Chair of the CBIA Remodelors Council when this award was won. The council sponsors the Immokalee Friendship House thrift shop, supplying them with building materials, furnishings, appliances and clothes.
  
  
• Shelter for Abused Women - thrift store remodeling project - Tom Lykos wrote the specifications and drew the plans for remodeling of the Shelter's thrift store. The CBIA Remodelors Council will oversee this job. This collaborative effort utilizes the talents of many remodelors, homebuilders and subcontractors.
  
  

New Employees

• We are pleased to announce the return of Bill Wolff as superintendent to our production team. Bill has over 20 years of construction experience. He is originally from upstate New York.
  
  
• The Lykos Group is pleased to announce the addition of Cyndi Taylor to our sales team. Cyndi has been a resident of Naples for 8 years. Her experience in sales spans more than 8 years.
  
  

AWARDS

• The Lykos Group, Inc. received a Best of the Best Design Gold Award for Single Family Home Under $250,000 from Professional Remodelor magazine. Professional Remodelor magazine is a nationally recognized remodeling publication. The interior designer on the project was Laurie Minerva of Executive Designs and the professional photography for the entry was by Giovanni Photography, both of Naples. The awards ceremony was held at the Convention Center in Chicago and coincided with the National Remodelors Show October 18 through 20.
  
  
• Lykos Group Nationally Ranked!
  
  The Lykos Group, Inc. was recognized as a Top 500 remodeling company in the September issue of Qualified Remodeler (QR), a nationally recognized remodeling publication.
  
  The QR Top 500 is the longest ongoing recognition program in the remodeling industry. Each year, the QR Top 500 recognizes companies for significant and sustained success in terms of community service, industry awards, industry certification, industry association membership, number of years in business, and installed remodeling dollar volume. Verification is required in order to be considered. The Lykos Group, Inc. was ranked at number 300. The special reception for this year’s Top 500 companies will be held the day before the national remodeling show this October in Chicago.
